The Glass Menagerie
Tennessee Williams’ classic is one of the most
famous plays of modern theatre.
This “memory play” tells the semi-autobiographical
tale of the overbearing Southern Belle and her
desire to find a “gentleman caller” for her
frail daughter.

Biographies
(Ryan) L. B. Fisher (Tom) was born and raised in New York, where he graduated from NYU, before heading out to California. He has had many guest starring roles on various TV shows, most notably ER, Boston Public and a recurring role on Felicity. He also appeared in the movie, The Out of Towners, starring Goldie Hawn, Steve Martin and John Cleese and most recently portrayed the talented Peter Tork (of the Monkees) in the film Daydream Believers: The Monkees' Story. LB's first love is theater and he has done his fair share of star studded Off-Broadway shows such as Conversing with Eugene, West Side Story, Romeo and Juliet and Doing Judy! where he was nominated for California Critics, Robby Award in the Best Supporting Actor category, to name a few... Ryan is thrilled to be working with Gallimaufry and is looking forward to a wonderful run of The Glass Menagerie. To my family, thank you for your constant support and love, I am a better person because of you. Enjoy.
Julie Gibson Josephson (Amanda) brings a lifetime of theatre to the Laguna Beach stage. Her well traveled career has had her performing on both coasts, as well as throughout Europe. Of her many European premieres, she most notably starred as “Halie” in the newly revised version of Sam Shepard’s Buried Child which opened the French-American Cultural Center of the Arts in Paris. She has also appeared in six seasons with Festival Theatre USC/USA in both Cambridge, England and at the Edinburgh Festival. Julie was the Managing Director of the Michael Chekhov Acting Studio in New York where she worked with famed Chekhov students Blair Cutting and Academy Award-winning actress, Beatrice Straight. As a television actress, she filmed many shows during the 70’s, including The Waltons, Emergency!, Operation Petticoat, and the movie-for-tv Hotrod. Also while in New York, Julie created the role of “Titania” in the Off-Broadway musical, Some Summer Night. Local audiences have also seen her as “Ouisa” in Six Degrees of Separation. She most recently recreated her role as “Latrelle” in the European premiere of Gallimaufry’s Sordid Lives at the 2007 Edinburgh Festival.
